CAVEMAN KEYNOTING
John "Caveman" Gray is an experienced motivational and keynote
speaker registered with the Australia Speakers Bureau. His first public
speaking assignment - in 1961 at the La Canada Rotary Club for Junior
Achievement - led to speaking appearances from Los Angeles to New York for
that US nationwide high school business training organization. Later that
year, Caveman was the personal guest of the president of the New York Stock
Exchange
Gray achieved his "Caveman" moniker for his primary explorations of the
tidal sea caves and inland lagoons of South Thailand, dramatic enough but
other lifelong oceanic explorations led to numerous "life-extending
experiences", as found in website readings including "Free Ride", Hurricane
John" and "Tahiti Storm".
Always with an environmental angle, management topics include "Triple Bottom
Line", with reference to the 1978 PRI Solar Hot Water project, "Star
Alliance Kick-Off" and Thailand Environmental Institute's One-Day Symposium
"Sea Caves and Their Importance to Thailand."
On the Ecotourism side, there's "Eco-development, the SeaCanoe Way", and
numerous environmental writings available on our website. Speaking with a
flair, Gray always appears in his traditional Thai "pa'ra'cha'than",
personally approved by Sir Colin Marshall for the British Airways "Tourism
For Tomorrow" award acceptance at Hampton Court Palace after Gray refused to
"dress like a bartender".. .
Gray felt the Sumatra quake from Phuket and predicted a Tsunami before the
ground stopped shaking. When he warned Thai authorities, they said he was on
drugs, a personal experience found onsite at "Tsunami Media Kit" and
"Richard Bang's Adventures" multi-media production for Yahoo.com, both
available from this website.
In the late 70's, Caveman managed and trained the Aloha United Way's "Spirit
of O'hana" Speakers Bureau in co-operation with Honolulu Toastmasters, and
still leads creativity and personnel management seminar thirty years on. In
Thailand, Gray produces corporate training and incentive programs for a long
list of companies, including many multi-national organizations.
Many of Caveman's appearances and expeditions are planned a year in advance,
so don't hesitate. To book The Caveman, contact Patrick Sweeney at
