| Location: Haeng Toi , Ha Long Bay, Vietnam |
| I picked Haeng Toi out on a chart in 1991, made it our overnight stop on the 1992 Exploratory and the cove remains a great introduction to Halong Bay on every trip. Tucked into a small corner of Cat Ba Island, Haeng Toi hosts a concentration of sea caves, Phongs, and rock gardens, all easy to negotiate when the tides are right. From here, it’s a short cruise across the channel to the Titop anchorage.
This all tide sea cave waits at the far end of Haeng Toi. There's a large Phong behind the cave and a couple of secret surprises.
