| I was shooting by flash in the dark, and had no idea this cave guardian was even there until I reviewed my shots…looks like he stuck around a bit too long.
The partial skull peers out from a curtain of calcite crystals formed when water saturated with calcium carbonate flows across the surface of a stalactite and evaporates, causing crystals to form. |
