| Location: Governor's Mansion -1992, Hanoi, Vietnam |
| After Giap and Ho defeated the French, Hanoi once again belonged to Vietnam. Many expected Ho to take residence in the Governor’s mansion, but he refused. About 200 meters from this spot sits a simple two-room wooden stilt house. From that humble abode, Ho defeated the mightiest nation in history. For me, Ho’s house is the most memorable experience in the Mausoleum-War Museum-Ho’s House-Da Gov’s Mansion historical walk. |
