| East Bay is one of our favorite Mini-Expedition campsites. With all its monkeys and hornbills, our Phang Nga Bay campsite faces East, directly into the sunrise. It's spectacular and shaded by beach bushes, but it's nice to have a campsite facing West on the second night. Ling Yai wakes up in the wee small hours, but sleepyheads can snore in the shade long after sunrise — while the rest of us go paddling. |
