| Location: Koh Kai Nok, Phang Nga, Thailand |
| In the good old days, Koh Kai Nok was an isolated, untouched spit of land – coral reef on one side and white sand beach on the other. We often camped here after the run up from Tarutao. This camp was for Kanu, the German paddling magazine, who wanted to shoot Sunset and Sunrise from the same campsite.
Today, Koh Kai Nok is classic “Tourism Gone Wrong”. Everybody’s speedboat stop, you cannot walk between the beach chairs and speedboats line the beach.
