| Reduced by millions of years of erosion, Dao Da Be is extremely complicated with numerous Phongs, bays, and sea caves. We've even found one that didn't show up in the aerial photos.
Note the sloped contour of the island similar to the shield volcanoes of Polynesia. This island — now actually two — started as a massive rounded ridge that eroded over the eons by rainfall and tides.
