After airline roll-up transport, open sea and cave paddles, we ask our SOTAR’s to portage across a jagged limestone rock pile so we can access the back half of the Hong.
Many paddlers from colder climates distain any craft but their own style kayaks. We look for the best tool for the job — and that includes camera and video platform, and ultimate guest safety on open ocean tradewind coastlines. We designed a slightly longer open ocean version that truly shines on tropical tradewind coastlines where seas can be rough (especially inside lava sea caves) and surf landings on rock beaches are common.
