Colugo (Flying Lemur) Cynocephalus variegates
Colugo (Flying Lemur) Cynocephalus variegates
Location: Kathu, Phuket, Thailand
The Colugo continues its climb. My guess is this little guy fell out of a tree as a baby bird falls from the nest. Whether stunned or asleep in the daytime, it went to sleep on the spot until a Good Samaritan got involved. After researching the species, it’s easy to see the best action may have been to redeposit the colugo high up the tree trunk and walk away. But who would know their climbing instinct, juvenile colors, and flying instincts? Safest best was to take it to the crazy Farang who let that baby eagle fly free
