| Just like Thailand’s tidal nape caves, Ana’noio channel and cave follows a fault line. The big difference is the wave action. In protected Phang Nga and Ha Long Bays waves are insignificant. Insidious, incessant tidal action eats deep into limestone, sometimes cutting catacombs kilometers long, but ceilings rarely rise above the high tide line.
