| Indo-Pacific Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porusus)
For me, porusus is the ultimate marine monster. You don’t want to swim in front of a Great White Shark, or get stung by a Box Jellyfish, but for ultimate “mean”, nothing matches the personality of the Salt Water Croc.
.Look closely to see the distinctive double ridged croc tail in the algae-covered water just in front of the croc’s snout. Imagine the effectiveness of this stealth hunting in a swamp.
Don’t worry, there are no crocs in Princessa outside the Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center.
