| There are several hundred species of firefly, and they use their blinking patterns to help find their own. Fireflies are a “Green Season” bonus. We rarely see them from November to May, but they are numerous from May-October. When the fireflies are out, it’s the only setting I know where you see two different forms of bioluminescence at the same time. |
