| Passing through the sea arch into the back Hong is my favorite Loi Kratong, but the tides aren’t right all the time.
There isn’t much difference between tides low enough to get under the front window and high enough to float over this window, so it took me three more trips to figure out the tides. I didn’t want to dominate the discoveries in my “Ecotourism Experiment” student/partners own backyard, I didn’t tell them when I made it into the back Hong. . It took six weeks before one finally cracked the code –and got such a big head he promptly named it after himself! We politely renamed it Diamond Cave after the sparkling stalactite. |
