This trip just gets you a glimpse of the Bay, bit it's a full 24 hours, sleeping on the bay in the tranquility of Nature with Sunrise and Sunset. The typical tourist Ha Long package is just as long, but includes a hotel and a four-hour boat trip to a heavy traffic tourist island, something like James Bond Island tours in Thailand, only two days long.

Better you take a three or four-day trip to see the Bay in greater detail, but for tight schedules or budgets, this is the best way to see the Bay.

Two days, One night (Ha Long's usual "Day Trip" format)

Book NowDAY ONE

0900 Depart your Hanoi hotel.
1200 Arrive Ha Long and eat in deluxe seafood restaurant.
1300 Depart Ha Long pier.
1500 Arrive Cat Ba and explore a labyrinth lagoon by kayak.
1800 Return to escort boat.
1900 Seafood dinner on way to Titop Island.
2100 Optional night paddle.
2200 Return to escort boat and sleep.

DAY TWO

0530 Optional Sunrise paddle.
0700 Breakfast underway.
0830 Arrive Second island (selected according to the tides).
Explore more caves and Phongs.
1100 Depart for the pier with lunch while navigating between complex limestone islands.
1230 Arrive at the pier.
1300 Depart to Hanoi.
1600 Return to your hotel in Hanoi.
